DP definitely talks about the cats being mine but I hear him chattering away to them all the time. Last night, he came back from a couple of days away and was walking round the room cuddling one and showing the cat “things from up here”.

My husband fell for one of our foster kittens, who also fell for him. DH now has a cat who sits beside the sink and supervises the washing up. It's lovely to see their relationship, we have several cats most of them gravitate to me but this is his cat.

I bargained with DH for 6 years and begged at every birthday for a kitten.
Eventually he relented.
The cat and DH love each more than anything in the world. Cat gives DH kisses on the forehead.
I am known as ‘Leg’ because that is the only use I have to cat when he wants to lean against something
🤣🤣🤣

Here is our 'aud lad'...he is 18 and still keeps himself lovely and clean. A bit creaky in his back end but enjoys his food and the fireside

Oh Gatekeeper, I remember the thread where you acquired your cat.

It's soooo lovely to see him still thriving - and know he's still enjoying his fireside.
