She's lost weight during this episode. Bloods are all normal. I got some kitten food, but she's struggling with the tiny kibbles. Needs to be dry food as she doesn't like wet. And ideally free from cereal as Cheddar is a delicate petal!

Would she eat James Wellbeloved Senior do you think?

Could you add a drizzle of salmon oil?

Senior foods tend to be lower calorie I think.

I used to use salmon oil
And they would eat it. Until the cattery over did it and soaked their food in it. They won't touch it now. Might be worth a try mixed into some soup or lik e lix. I tried kitten
Food Ad it's higher calorie.

It's the almost the same as the kitten - 414 kcal per 100g for senior and adult, 418 kcal for the kitten.

That's annoying! Might be worth trying again though.

Hill’s Prescription/Science Diet foods are great, nice big pieces. The TD is round. Has corn and rice in it though.

FWK says he recommends Natures Variety kitten, which is grain free. His also quite liked the Lily's Kitchen Kitten, which is grain free but does include Flax seeds
