I have a beautiful big friendly black cat called Sweep. He really is one of the best I’ve ever owned, however, he gets almost overwhelmed with affection for me and when I’m least expecting it, he’ll bite my hand or some other body part and it flipping hurts! This morning as I was half awake, he was right next to me and, while purring, sunk his fangs into my hand. It didn’t bleed but 12 hours later it’s still sore and mildly swollen. I’ll keep putting Savlon/ Germolene on it in case of infection, but what can I do to stop it without getting angry with him?
Anyone else had a similar situation that they’ve managed to cure?
