Cat just asked ‘What else?’ re food

Sorry no witnesses obviously.
She’s been proffered 35 different types of food today on different saucers. (ok maybe 6 or 7, but it feels like 35) plus cream
Shes eyeballing me now
She’s about 19
She said ‘wha ehh’ which I interpreted to be What Else, surely.

If they get to 19 they’ve got you over a barrel.

My old cat would diligently eat around the meat to only get the jelly for a time...

Maybe warm cooked chicken or sardines? If it's hard for her to chew, maybe some warm water so it soupy. Warming up any food can make it more appealing!

Not the best! Having a scratch. She had us over a barrel tbh when she was a found as an unwanted kitten. She’s forgotten her roots 🙂

Our cat (M17) is very partial to chicken leg cooked on a bbq, if not available freshly roasted chicken leg will do. He also likes roast beef and steak. Only eats expensive small tins of cat food (not all brands - he's fusst) and can't have the same flavour twice in a row...... He's got fussier as he's got older..... (We have had a cat who made it to 24 so we expect to deal with this for some time to come!)

Our old moggy "talks" like crazy when hungry/thirsty but at least meiows a sort of thank you when I put the cat milk down for her.

When I put my cat's dried food in his bowl he turns his head to me with a "is that it?" look.

I can't go Into the kitchen without my two ganging up on me and demanding cat soup. That they only eat the liquid of. I'm getting a bit concerned that Magic appears to be reading my mind. So will have to be more careful with my thought when she needs her antibiotics or to go to the vet.

Poor cat, is it too much to ask for the bbq to go on all year round?

So, on Thursday evening she ate 8 slices of wafer thin chicken. Mad for it. Cream for afters.
Like the sucker I am I bought more chicken.
Oh no, it’s disgusting she said, I would rather starve. ( she knows we will cave)

I once had to get on my knees and beg my cat to eat steak because she was on a hunger strike as I could not find the only brand of Whiskas that she would eat.

Try her with a well mashed chicken fillet with a bit of gravy.
One of my previous elderly cats was partial to this after losing most of his teeth. I was his favourite meal 😋

My old toothless boy is currently all over lilys kitchen kitten food (more calories)
He loves natures menu too

Currently has cystitis poor lad

My elderly loved mashed pilchards and raw egg, together or separately.

Have you tried prawns? Grated cheese? Swiss roll?

I've never known a cat turn down swiss roll.

Mine goes absolutely mad for jacket potato with baked beans
And anything dairy. I have to eat custard standing up or he tries to shove his paw into my mouth

Yes to grated cheese, haven’t tried Swiss roll but she’s so odd that she probably would like it. She does like a very small cheese sandwich (white bread, butter and mature cheese). About an inch square.

(I don’t actually prepare an inch square sandwich from scratch but just cut a bit off ours). I’m obviously not dedicated enough.

My dcat is veg mad...
Sits at the table every night begging..favourites are broccoli and peas. And dd licks the sauce off kidney beans if we have chilli!

@Bunnyishotandcross raw or cooked? Ours was potato peelings mad until she was 14. So strange.

This injury from my girl because I wasn't quick enough to give her the 'oysters' from the roast chicken last night.
