Cat not eating food and drinking more

Any ideas what this could be? I’ll be making an appointment in the morning, but for the past couple of days my Persian boy has been drinking more and off his food.

Absolutely fine in himself. Still playful and energetic etc.

Could be a number of things. The vet may do some bloods? Try not to worry too much till you've seen the vet x

What is wrong with Persians this week?!! Mine have been causing trouble as well!

Mine (moggy not Persian, coming up to age nine neutered) had a UTI and then several weeks later a stone in his waterworks. He loves his food, but with the stone especially he ate nothing all day which started alarm bells ringing and started crying out with pain in the night. It can turn serious very quickly so I would advise to call the vets as soon as they open.
