Does anyone else have a cat who does this?

I have four cats and one of the girls spends every morning trying to chase one of our male cats and pin him down so she can clean him. He absolutely hates it! But I find it funny because it's like a ritual she has. He looks at her and does a protest meow but she won't stop 😂

Our sister/brother siblings used to cuddle up as kittens and she would groom him. Now all she ever does is lick his arsehole as he goes through the cat flap - if she's behind him, she doesn't run across the garden to do it, but if she sees the opportunity she's right in there. Most of the time she hates him and avoids him so I don't know where the compulsion comes from.

My girl cat definitely does not chase the boy cat to groom him, but if he's curled up on a chair or somewhere, she'll jump up next to him and groom his head. He can't be left in peace!

Not me (I only have 1 Dcat ) but one of DM's washes both the other cats and the dog! I think she thinks they're all her kittens, she breaks up fights between the other two (they're brother and sister and don't always get on) and puts the dog (he's an American bulldog cross and enormous) firmly in his place if he steps out of line. DM often says she doesn't know how the others will cope when we lose her, she's 15 and still doing well but it will be like losing the matriarch for the others.
