What do we think of Webbox?

I need a grain-free food for the ladies. The smell of their poo and farts is unbelievable and they are a bit skinny for my liking (they are on Felix..... I know, I know). Found some Webbox in Sainsbury's and will give it a go. Has anyone else tried it? How was it?

Cat tax

My cat loves the regular Webbox (7+) - it's probably no better than some of the others, but he's a fussy bugger & won't eat the expensive stuff. I struggle to get Webbox in many places, although you can order it from the company directly (& Ocado do it).

ChungusBoi · 08/02/2023 20:05

Cute pic.

Mine won’t eat it!

Shinyandnew1 · 08/02/2023 20:05

Mine love Webbox-it’s cheap from Home Bargains as well!

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 08/02/2023 20:06

Mine thought it was ok for precisely one box. One likes the sticks and another likes the sauce. Three turn their noses up at those.
mine are on felix and gourmet plus dried whiskas and whatever treats they decide are acceptable that day - normally dreamies and catit with occasional whiskas milk treats.

They were skinny - they aren’t now. Here’s 3 of them.

That's good to know!

Mine eats Webbox, but I alternate it with Blink as I'm not sure how good the meat content is in it (purely going on the price as it's so much cheaper than Blink).

Kittensat36 · 09/02/2023 22:44

Yes, I thought that too, @Tribollite,,but I reckon that it's on a par with Felix - but the meat is distributed through the jelly, while it all sinks in Felix.

Anyway, they have hoovered it up. I wait to see what it does to their farts.

It's on offer in Morrison's at the moment.
DCat likes ProChoice which is grain free and I randomly found in the "middle of Lidl". I think Sainsbury's sell it but I don't have one locally. The meaty chunks are much smaller than Webbox or Harrington.
If you are in B&M, they often sell Butchers pouches. They have quite large chunks. My Lidl has them in too at the moment.

My two refuse to eat it. They eat Lily's kitchen and whiskas and whiskas biscuits. The vet said they have amazing coats.
I also cook them fish once a week.

LancreWowhawk · 10/02/2023 16:03

I really, really want His Lordship to eat good quality food. He, however, will only eat Felix AGAIL. Gah!

dragonbreaths · 10/02/2023 18:47

our 3 won't eat it. only eat felix and iams biscuits

Pudmyboy · 10/02/2023 19:06

Do Webbox make Lick-e-lix? Mine loved loved loved those so when he needed meds it was great- till he decided he hates hates hates them!
He is a cheap date, likes Purina One, did try expensive stuff including Meowing Heads and Blink: no go. Will eat chicken intended for humans though. So good luck with the Webbox OP! Will be interested to hear in case my fussy boy needs meds again and I need a hiding place....

HiLife is grain-free - my 2 have the tuna terrine for Senior Cats in their rotation of food & they absolutely love it. Pets at Home do it, but I get it from Amazon in my subscribe & save order.

ZooPlus stock a wide range of grain-free foods (both wet & dry, though with the former not all are complete). Feringa is popular with mine & I frequently see it recommended in the Litter Tray. My two actually prefer the own-brand “Rosie’s Farm” to Lily’s Kitchen.

Horsemad · 11/02/2023 15:57

My senior cat loves Webbox, I get it from Sainsbury's or Asda.
Nutritionally I don't think it is much better than Felix, tbh but she isn't sick eating it, which is a bonus.
