We have 2 cats who are restricted to the kitchen/utility overnight with plenty of beds, bowls, litter trays etc.
They also have a cat flap in the back door which 1 cat uses just fine. The second, younger cat is able to use the cat flap to come back in but can't seem to understand that it works both ways. She'll happily go through the cat flap if you open it for her but can't work out that she needs to push it open to go out.
To come back in she launches herself through at top speed so it's understandable that she might not want to do that to the outside.
How do I teach her to use the cat flap?!
