Just been quoted £150 which does include pain killers and £19 for a medical recovery vest. I’m sure I paid about £50 last time! 😆

Spay?

OntarioBagnet · 02/02/2023 18:30

Yeah, I do actually know that. Not sure if phone autocorrected but thanks for your help.

£79 at ours if you book online

DangerNoodles · 02/02/2023 18:33

£75 for our vet's 'snip and chip' package. We didn't get a fancy recovery vest though, just a cone of shame.

If you are on a low income Cat Protection offers it a very low rate

mondaytosunday · 02/02/2023 18:35

£120 in London for the female, cheaper for the male I think. That included everything.

Bemyclementine · 02/02/2023 18:35

I had a cat spayed recently, I called 2 vets. £89 at 1, £125 at the second. The second also told me if cat was already pregnant (stray) it could be up to £250.

Bemyclementine · 02/02/2023 18:36

Oh and she had neither cone nor vest, nit necessary apparently.

Yeah I don’t remember a cone last time!

Including the body suit thing, about £130 flank spay including painkillers + rechecks.
£155 if midline/pregnant etc

We are in Northern Ireland, so one of the lowest salaried regions of the UK.

Ours was £98 a few years ago. Included a post-op check and painkillers.
