Tesco insure my 11 and 12 year olds. However they've covered them soccer they were adopted. My premiums are astronomical because of one of theme's past history and their breed. I think id probably self insure, if they aren't already covered.

I'm with Tesco too, last year I was paying £31 but claimed the full 4k for my cat's chemotherapy and now my monthly cost is £58. I can't claim for his chemo anymore (ongoing) but would still like some insurance in case my cat is likely to experience other illnesses due to his age

Petplan have covered over £5k worth of tests this year for our 11 year old cat. No disputes, paid up quickly, they've been really good.

My premium is £118 for two cats. Had £22k of claims though. And Tesco were fab when I said I was cancelling because it was unaffordable and reduced the price. And further reduced for a bigger excess.
