Cats are such strange creatures.

Spend ages looking for Madam Cheddar this morning. Eventually found her in one of Magic's beds under my bed. In 5 years, she has never shown any interest in any of Magics many beds or teepee. Then in the last couple of months she's taken up residence in the teepee. Magic is currently snoozing on my bed. She never does that!

They do it on purpose to mess with us. It works too.

I was actually getting really concerned that I couldn't find her. Little bugger.

I've given up trying to find Girlcat's latest hidey hole. It isn't in either of the igloos (though she uses one sometimes), it isn't in either wardrobe or in the hanging clothes storage in there, not under my bed, not in the boiler cupboard, don't THINK it's behind the sofa as she seems to appear from upstairs anyway. Maybe she's sleeping on the little windowsill in the upstairs hall behind the curtain, or behind the bedroom curtains, but neither of those are to her usual snuggly taste.

Ah well, she seems to be happy wherever it is!

I nearly rang dh in tears once because I couldnt find asbo and I was airing the bedroom out so I thought hed jumped out the window and run off to die.

Then I checked the rolled up duvet off the bed and he was in there. In summer that's obviously the best place to sleep isnt it?.
