Hello

my cat who is two and seems heathy and happy - Eating, drinking, toileting and behaving as normal - has started to make an Elvis face.he curls one lip up. Should I take him to the vet? I do not have much experience with cats as he is my first one so I have no idea! Photo of the face

I think a trip to the vet is a good idea. He might have a tooth issue. Very handsome cat 🐈

Ah ha...

I called the vet and they said to take a look in his mouth so wish me luck… and if he kept doing it to take him in next week.

Has he lost his top fang? happened to my persian boy.

Can’t advise but what a gorgeous boy! I hope his Elvis face isn’t something painful (although assume it would be a tooth); it’s a very cute expression

Thank you. I had a look (well as much as he would let me) and he definitely has both top fangs. Unfortunately as I have never really examined his mouth closely before I am not sure what I am looking for. He doesn’t seem to be in pain but am still worried as have never seen him back that face until today.
