Mr Jay is 9 month old beautiful neutered boy and has been going outside for about 2 months now. He loves it, mainly sticks to the back garden or next door's shed roof and is happy coming and going through his cat flap.
There are lots of neighbourhood cats so he was always going to have to navigate them. One sits on the fence/shed/floor/trampoline and they have a staring contest that never amounts to much (I think the other cat even fell asleep at one point) so he seems to be managing that relationship well
However, there is one bigger cat (mean cat) who is a bit more menacing. There have been a few yowls and mean cat chases our boy back through his cat flap, sometimes putting his head right up to the door (cat flap is linked to Dcat's chip so he can't come any further). Dcat comes flying in all puffed up but does go back out again after a while.
I don't like the thought of him being bullied
and wondered if there's anything we can do to dissuade mean cat - or if this is just a strange friendship? Dcat is a big softy and I don't want him to get beaten up!!
