Pregnant cat meets house cat

So, I am meant to be picking up a pregnant cat tomorrow, because the owner cannot afford to keep her, but I already have my own 1 year female. How should I manage this? Is it even possible??

I would consider putting the pregnant cat in a separate room until she has the kittens as she may be feeling very vulnerable, you can let them smell each other under the door so they get used to the scent - once you've sold/gave the kittens away then you can slowly introduce the two female cats, there's plenty of info online on how to do that successfully however I've usually just thrown a new cat in and after some hissing they are fine after a week but I know my existing cats are soft asses so it works fine.
