Cat has singed her whiskers

Our cat LOVES the radiator, and often sits with her face pressed right up against it. I noticed a couple of weeks ago she had something stuck in a couple of whiskers, tried to clean it off, but it wouldn’t come. DP thinks she has singed them. She’s absolutely fine, but it does look a bit unsightly! Attached pic with circles of shame. They’ll grow out, right? We shouldn’t try and trim them or anything?

Awwww she's beautiful. Yep I'd leave well alone, they will grow back. Do you have a radiator bed? Like a hammock that actually hangs on the radiator, she'll get all the heat but no damage.

@Ludo19 she is, thank you! Good to know they will eventually drop out. Her bed is next to the radiator but sometimes she comes out to sit with her face on it. I’ll investigate a hanging bed - she is unusual in that she always sleeps in her own bed. (Typically I just replaced it a couple of weeks ago!)

If her whiskers are short/gone don't let her outside as they use their whiskers to gauge spaces they can get through. They'll grow back.

Oh, no, they are not short or gone - just little burnt ends per the pic! She doesn’t roam anyway, she’s only ever in our garden or next door.

Awww my cat did this on a candle. They were completely frazzled but they grew back fine. They need their whiskers to gauge width and distance. I have all my candles in lanterns now.

My sister in law tried a hanging bed and the cat hates it. We had no better luck with it either.
