Any definitive links to help? Everything I've found on Google makes me feel like I need my eyes tested (and hasn't helped)

Thanks. Kitten has very visible nipples which led us to think girl but I really wasn't sure.

Had to cancel the initial appointment / vax due to (human) illness and couldn't reschedule until January.

You have a lovely boy!

There's no difference at all between nipples for boy and girl kittens - they only change if an adult female is in season or pregnant.

I wouldn't worry about a name change. A friend has a female cat called Cedric, he's constantly misgendered in conversation but doesn't seem to care.

I'm already an embarrassing cat mum to our new addition, baring his bum on SM 😂

We have an older boy who is very similar in colouring (older boy has a little more black in him).

He's another unwanted kitten. Just like our big boy. Pure chance how similar they are. They look like one giant cat half the time.

Boy kittens are frequently mistaken for girls because their boy bits don't pop out (not sure of best turn of phrase 😂) shall we say "drop" until they're a bit older, around 3-4 months.

Just wait a bit, then you'll see the baubles of Tomcat appearing.
