She was snuggled up this morning

They already have 5 beds between them. (All used my magic) I'm not getting anymore!

I did mine one of the cushions near the radiator, Magic just looked at me and stalked off. She could just ask Cheddar to budge up a bit. I am glad that Cheddar is being a bit less passive though. The late Maia would have eaten her for breakfast 🤣

Mine are being silly and lying on the bed a few inches apart, complaining that it's cold. The do often snuggle up together, just not now there's a deep frost in the morning! They also haven't yet moved into their igloos (choice of 3) that are all lined with Vetbed for extra warmth & snuggliness.

Meanwhile I've swapped from the heavy knit cardigan over the thinner cardigan & long sleeved top, to the Sherpa fleece lined hoodie with a pouch in front over the thinner cardie & top. Having been brought up in a house that used to have frost on the inside of the windows, I learnt very early on the layering & other techniques for keeping warm

I do worry about Boycat though, he's rather (comparatively) thin these days and his winter coat isn't coming through like his sister's (apparently a known CKD thing). I may well have to put the heating on for longer and to hell with the overdraft. New job starts in the new year, so no payday until end Jan, but his comfort must come first!

Mine won't cuddle up together. But will sleep near each other. I had two duvets and sick on last night. And was still freezing. Had to put a fleece blanket on as well. House wasn't too cold. Think it was me!

Once I'm in bed I'm fine, PJ top then keep the track suit bottoms & socks on until the bed warms up properly, then remove & push them out the side of the duvet. Not sure where the cats sleep as they go downstairs after the bedtime rituals have been completed, though I have found them snuggled up on the sofa if I've gone down during the night.

If I'm not up by sunrise, Boycat sits on the windowsill behind the curtains until I wake up, then joins me on the bed. If I wake before that, he's obviously listening out for me to go to the loo, as he gets upstairs on the bed before the flush has finished. Girlcat is usually somewhere on the sofa snoozing when I come down, unless she gets bored with me & Boycat snuggling then she comes upstairs & stands in the doorway STARING at us until he sheepishly hops off & joins her downstairs.

I made a bed out of my dressing gown last night for Puddy. I have high hopes for introducing a proper bed one day.
