We've had our girl for almost 3 weeks. She's settling nicely. We got her through a rescue but she was still living with the owner who was giving her up.
I was hoping to keep her in for a month but she wants to go out, just this past few days she's interested in the front door.
She actually ran out a couple of nights ago, it was dark and we were panicking a bit but she didn't go far just the neighbours front gardens, she seemed scared. She wouldn't take a treat so I could tell she was out of her comfort zone. My Dh managed to grab her and take her inside.
But she clearly wants to go out, I think I should take her out in the back garden this weekend, before she's fed. Should I use a lead? Or just stay out with her for half an hour before trying to coax her back in with food? Nervous!
