My longest companion

Realised today that in two years time my pet cat will be the being I have lived with the longest in my life, she will beat my parents 19 years of my life, my daughter 9 years and my ex husband 11 years together.

I lost my cat today, over the rainbow bridge. She was 19. Older than my teenager whose never known life without her.. my eldest was 5 when we got her. It’s hitting home this evening: she was my evenings company. First one I spoke to in the morning.. why do they get old 😿
