Best Pet Insurance

Does anyone have any good recommendations for pet insurance please? We currently have accident only but realise that this won’t be sufficient to cover any illnesses that our cats may have and we don’t want to be caught out, as vet bills are increasing and can run into their hundreds and thousands.

Thanks

Tesco! Really good with my £22k of claims.

Animal friends. Have 3 x cats and 1 dog and they have never not paid out.

Another one for Tescos - underwritten by Royal Sun Alliance. We have both cats fully insured for accidents and illnesses for as long as each takes to sort out and the total is £11.28 a month. The cats are just over two years old.

Been with Tesco for years and never had a problem with them. They pay out promptly, cover some unusual conditions and it is easy to start a claim either online or by completing a form. Lifetime Cover and £10k of fees might be a little more expensive than lesser policies, but well worth it IMO.

Forgot to add that they are one of few who cover older cats too.

I've been with Sainsbury's for a few years and they have been brilliant. Always paid out promptly with minimal form filling.

Thanks for the responses, so far, I will look into them all, we are with Animal Friends but accident only but realise now this isn’t enough to cover any significant bills, especially since cost of living have risen so much.

Many Pets (previously Bought by Many). They cover dental on my plan which is crucial, especially for older cats. My cat has FIV but they have always paid out.

Tesco were also really good when my premium went up to £150 a month. They reduced it immediately when I said I was going to cancel expensive cat, and reduced further when I increased the excess.

Tesco's has been good

@BestPetInsurance I'm with Many Pets and they've been really good.
they cover existing conditions, dental and emergency boarding.
I also have a referral code for a £40 Amazon Card for both of us if you take insurance with them.
