What can I do about neighbours bengal cat?

I have 3 cats, none of them particularly go outdoors but my oldest male (12 years old) likes to sit outside on our drive.

its getting to be a daily occurrence that the Bengal cat from two doors down is on next doors garage sitting waiting for my cat to appear to fight him. Today I’ve been sat by my window and can see my cat sat just in front of my car. He suddenly starts bolting it back to the door but before he can get there he’s been jumped on by the bengal, with my cats white fur flying all over the place. I’ve gone outside to break it up and even then the bengal is trying to get in my house to get to him!

is there anything I can do other than keeping my cat inside?

Assuming you're in the UK - then no, there's unfortunately not much that can be done as cats have the right to roam.

Can you cat-proof your garden so he can go out there safely?

Cat proofing is the way forward. We had a Bengal, they have a big territory.

Inside the house they’re very affectionate though. It’s just outside they have problems.

We have the same issue, it’s so bad we’re moving house after only 11 months. The neighbours cat got into our home trying to kill our cat about 2 months after we moved in, firstly we got bitten rescuing our cat, then when we tried to shoo it out , it launched at my husband shredding his hand and leg (through jeans), was like a horror movie. We ended up at A&E needing antibiotics and a tetanus booster. Other cat owning neighbours are affected. We arranged a meeting with one of these and owner - he refused to do anything stating his cat had the right to roam. We were going to report to council as some people in Roehampton managed to get a cat asbo in a similar case but decided to move instead .

We had the same problem. It was terrible, all three cats started urinating indoors through stress. Personally id wait for the bengals to come near the garden and give them the fright of their lives, water pistol attack, the works, whatever it takes to terrify them without injury

We had a bengal live next door. I'm a cat person, I love cats, but this one needed an exorcism. Fortunately they rehomed him for trying to murder their dog.

Hose. I had an evil Burmese once and gave my neighbours permission to use the hose on him. Worked like a charm.

They're terrors bengals. We watched a new one to the area start attacking next doors chickens. 😯
