possible eye infection??

so I noticed this morning that my wee cat, Kimi, had some discharge from one eye, but dried up on her fur, and she seemed to have some more in her eye. She doesn't seem bothered. Eye is looking puffy or red, but is perhaps slightly closed - but I could be imagining that... so, should I wait and see if it clears over the course of the day? or is this a rush to vet type situation? She has eaten food as normal, gone outside etc, so I don't think she is behaving any differently. Her eyes were totally fine yesterday, so is definitely just since today. She doesn't seem to be worrying at it either. Any advice would be appreciated!

some pics - in one I think she is mid blink. does it look like her eyelid has infection?? She's in her crate (normal) so it's quite dark.

I'd keep an eye on it. If the discharge goes gunky and yellow, its a trip to the vet. Can't really muck about when it comes to eyes as infections can cause the poor cat to lose their sight.

A cooled teabag works for my cats if their eye looks a bit yuck.

thanks @Ludo19 . This morning her eye seems much better - no discharge at all. I will keep an eye (!) on it, but seems we don't need a trip to the vet. Just as well, as I can't imagine her letting me put eye drops in - ! Will remember about the cooled teabag too, thank-you.
