Well. I love cats, I am the crazy cat lady, but I have never even thought about doing this! We lost a much loved cat recently and some people thought it was a lot to have him cremated and kept in a beautiful box ( we plan to get a nice tree and bury his ashes there ). I don’t know, each to their own but I don’t know why she doesn’t rescue another if she misses the feeling of fur. My husband just screwed up his face and said… Noooooo… and now he’s cuddling the cats.

The book looks good.

The fact I can't stand DOP probably colours my view on this but...no. Just no.

I absolutely bloody adore my cat, but I wouldn't want a lifeless, soulless reminder that she's dead sitting in my living room. And I don't think 'cat ladies' are weird, generally because I am one, but having your cat freeze dried is.

That’s just weird. Ashes and jewelry or just ashes I get, but a freeze dried cat…..no! It’s like a modern version of taxidermy which is just creepy!

I do love the first paragraph she writes about the joy of owning a cat, I can really relate to the night time waking. I love my cat waking me in the night for a fuss which is ridiculous really, but I just find it so comforting and I love the fact she chooses me rather than DH. I like to think she loves me more but she probably gets that I will fuss her whereas DH will ignore her😜🤣
