Hello,

Any owners here?

We are very likely to be getting a little girl Ragdoll next week and are incredibly excited.

We want an affectionate house cat and Ragdolls seem to fit the bill.

I have had cats before but not a house cat. 😻

We have 2 male ragdolls - aged 8 and 7.

The older one is very affectionate, clingy, gets under our feet, follows us everywhere, gets concerned when the baby cries (will run to him and us, and rub against our legs meowing), eats anything he gets hold of, very loving.
The other one is more shy of strangers, pees were he shouldn't (this has been going on since kittenhood after he had a urine infection), more wary, still so loving and affectionate like his half brother.. but definitely harder work with his peeing issues!

Love my ragdoll! She’s a blue colourpoint. She is the most affectionate cat I have ever known. When I do my hair and make up she will chirrip to be picked up to see herself in the mirror, and she will cry to be carried up the stairs and carried about for a walk round the house like a princess. Everyone adores her. She is indoor but wishes she was outdoor and she does escape sometimes. She was part of a big litter, 8 I think, and a lot of them live locally and go out so we see them everywhere but they are affectionate and trusting and I don’t think I’d like mine going out. Oh and she’s a massive chonker- they are a big breed! Bigger than both of my two moggy Toms.

Muffin is gorgeous (although TBF so are all the other ragdolls people have posted.)

Muffin is absolutely gorgeous, congratulations on getting your beautiful ragdoll. I hope you have many wonderful years with him. They really are the best breed of cat.
