My cat has a friend

My cat has a girlfriend. she lives across the road but they hang out in our garden together sitting next to each other on the wall, rolling around together and sniffing each other. Ears aren't back and no fighting so far and it's been a year they have been like this. It's cute.
Only problem is she is pooing all over our garden whilst he sits there and watches her poo in our borders every morning at the same time! She clearly thinks it is her territory and he does nothing about it.
What do I do? Do you think he could be stressed by it?

He is a 2 year neutered moggy and very very laid back and chilled but I'm worried he is being walked all over by this other cat 🐈‍⬛

Aside from the poo, which I don’t think you can do much about, I think it all sounds very cute and wholesome!

My cat also has a friend who lives across the road. They go and call for each other by sitting on each other’s front windowsills, then they go out and have a bit of a scuffle - no claws, no hissing or howling, just a bit of a roll around and a friendly looking chase.

I wouldn’t worry. They are obviously just mates.

Aww that's cute. My parents cats had friends. Our late cat's friend used to sleep curled up with our cat on my parents bed.

My cat had a friend and he moved away last year. Haribo is now friendless and has no one to go catting with and it's heartbreaking seeing him on his own. Hugo was a cheeky drug addict who would walk into the house and sit by the sideboard is waiting for his fix of cat nip.

When Haribo went missing, he was trapped in a shed, Hugo would come into my garden, walk around the outside of the greenhouse where he and Haribo would sit, paw at the glass and then wander off across the road and go into the back garden of the house opposite. Haribo was found a few days later in a shed near to that house. Hugo was hanging around the night we rescued Haribo and I always wonder if he knew where he was but couldn't tell us.
