While trying to fix my smoke alarm earlier, it cheeped loudly and it scared my little cat who was dozing nearby - she went thundering downstairs and I can't for the life of me find her!
I've been rattling Dreamies, calling her name, looking under and behind furniture.
We don't have a cat flap and all doors and windows are closed so she has to be somewhere indoors. I'm terrified she might have gone up the chimney though I shone a torch up there and I couldn't see anything.
What do I do oh wise litter tray-ers? Do I just wait it out in the hope she'll appear when she gets hungry? I can't bear the thought of her hiding away frightened somewhere. HELP!
