My cat hasn't returned... concerned!

My cat usually has a routine of coming back in the evenings between 7:30-9:30. It seems as though she isn't wanting to return today, it's 12:30 and I'm worried with it being windy outside. I've shaken her treats, called out for her with her bowl of chicken and shook her favourite toy (normally she would come running). I can't hear her bell anywhere!! I'm worried, will she come back? Is it too early to say? This isn't normal behaviour from her as she loves roaming inside and outside of the house at her own leisure.

Need some reassurance as I'm wide awake, have work tomorrow and worried about her outside potentially stuck somewhere.

Since you posted your message, I hope your cats returned home now, but if not try not to worry as they can often disappear out of character for a few extra hours (sometimes longer) and they stroll in casually as if they’re wondering what all the fuss is about!
My cat used to have me frantic with worry, but on the occasions she did come home later than usual, it was often because she’d been too busy with a mouse she’d caught.

I know exactly how you feel and sympathise. It's no use me saying don't worry, because you will until she returns. And I'm sure she will. x

She has not yet returned, I've called out for her again. If she was nearby she would have come running to the door. Feel very very anxious.

I went out this morning to feed my hens, called for her a couple of times and no answer. Then finally the sound of her bell, she seems withdrawn but I've never felt so happier to see her.

She was definitely unsettled today, had her inside at 7:30 today and gave her plenty of snuggles. The things you do for your fur babies 🐱😫

Any sign of wind and ours won't travel home! Maybe your dcat hates the wind too op? Glad dcat is home.

Thank you so much! Heartbroken today. My aunts cat was run over this morning, he was left blinded, broken jaw and a crushed skull. The person who hit him left him, a lovely woman took him to the PDSA. Only returned from being with my aunt whilst beautiful Milo was put to sleep, his eyes closed peacefully as he took his last breath. He's been raised around me and left a massive hole in my heart. Picture of the beautiful boy attached 😢

He was a beautiful tame boy, my Sophie is a sassy cat. Her and Milo roamed the neighbourhood together 😢
