Missing kitten

My 5 month old kitten has been missing since the 11th Sept. Whilst she is very familiar with the back garden this was her first out properly after getting the ok from the vet (been spayed). I have posted all over social media, put up sign, posted through neighbours doors, called out for her, left things such as litter and other scented items from the house outside, called local vets. She has still not returned. I am so so sad and keep crying, I feel awful thinking she is out somewhere alone and scared. What is likely hood she ever make her way back home? Need positive stories please.

Did you find her OP?

No experience of lost cats, but sending hugs, must be horrific.

I’m truly sorry for you; it’s very distressing. I lost my cat who was about eighteen months old after he wandered off following a family member who was visiting someone on the other side of town. I offered a reward and eventually after about six weeks, amazingly someone rang me to say they thought they’d found him and to my great joy it was indeed him. It sounds like you’re doing a good job alerting people on SM, could she have been trapped in a local garage or garden shed do you think? I so hope you find her.

My indoor cat escaped from the house last month and was finally found after 12 days. She was found in the garden across the road (even though I had checked repeatedly in the previous days) They do say cats don't tend to stray too far from home so it is worth checking the neighbours gardens every day.
