ReHoming Fee

Just wondering if anyone has homed a kitten from a rescue Center recently and if so what fee they charge. The one I have contacted (which doesn’t have charitable status) say minimum of £150 for a kitten. This seems steep though I know they will have lots of costs.

It depends. Cats protection was £60 but they ensure the cat is neutered, microchips, one month of insurance, vet checked, wormed and deflea'd. Absolute bargain for that price imo

Was does yours offer for that price?

When I last got kittens from Battersea about 4 years ago, kittens were (from memory) about £100 each, with everything above, plus neutering included.
Four years on £150 doesn't sound too bad.

I rehomed from a rescue in Sweden last year and for kittens it was £250 for one or £400 for a pair. It included vaccinations, microchip, free sterilization when old enough and vet checks.

We got some additional free vet visits because of some ongoing medical issues

Cats protection where we got ours was £105 minimum payment per cat. We got two and gave £150 each.

They came neutered, microchipped, vet checked, had their first vaccination and we got a voucher for the second.

£70 nearly 2 years ago from RSPCA, spayed, vaxxed etc.

I was a bit Confused at the differing CP fees but seems its dependant on the branch and local vet fees for how much they charge, but they do cover all the same things.

About 6 years ago mine were £70 each, or £120 for the pair (small independent rescue). I gave them £200 and a mahoosive pile of almost new towels plus some cat food.

Meant to say - adults, vaccinated & chipped, vet checked
