When to worry

I have 2 cats. One never goes much further than the garden. The other one is about 8.5 months old and loves to roam. He has been castrated so hopefully doesn't go too far. He went out last night about 8pm and hasn't been home since. I wouldnt usually worry yet but we had big thunderstorms last night with a LOT of rain. And we"re going away tomorrow for a long weekend (someone is coming in every day to look after them). Would you worry yet? What do I do if he's not back by tomorrow morning when we're meant to go? Help!

Found him! The little bugger was pretending to be a stray and spending time at a neighbours house down the road!!
