I'd put money on your visitor being a DLH or DMH, domestic longhair / mediumhair - aka very fluffy moggy.

No doesn’t look like one at all. My brother has one. I call it the Norwegian jungle cat which annoys him. Fluffiest thing you have ever seen.

Nope just a regular fluffy bum, still a fab cat though. A Norwegian Forest Cat is on my retirement list along with a Newfoundland Dog.

i have to say the norwegian jungle cat produces drifts of long hair that stick to everything and spends a LOT of time vomiting up fur balls. It would not by my first choice of cat. Give me a Russian blue any day…

Any ideas what breed my kitty is please? She sadly died a few years ago, and I'd just assumed long haired moggy, but I've always been curious.

They normally have a long top coat. Still a gorgeous kitty though.
