Timed cat feeder

I am looking for a good timed cat feeder. I bought. An automatic one some time ago which is useless. Two big tanks which just too good into the dishes. I need one that will release food at times intervals. Any recommendations for good ones?

l got one off Amazon, because my older cat eats little and often and is picky if food is left in bowl too long. My sister came in every evening to check him and we made sure it worked properly by setting it up a couple of days in advance. Fine if you only have one cat as l did at the time, because only one bowl attatched, although l suppose cats would manage sharing if you programmed extra food It worked really well, you can set it to dispense whatever amount of dry food you choose, several times a day, you can also record your voice to call cat over.

Which one did you choose please?

I've got this one:

www.amazon.co.uk/Mate-C500-Automatic-Pet-Digital/dp/B01AUYLVU8/ref=sr_1_5?crid=I2FBQSS58DZU&keywords=cat+mate+automatic+feeder&qid=1662364566&sprefix=cat+mate+automatic+feeder%2Caps%2C79&sr=8-5

It has freezer blocks that go in the base if you are feeding wet food and are away e.g. overnight. But I'm not clear from your OP if this is the sort of thing you mean?

I have the CatMate 500 too, it is great. The only thing to watch is that the battery is fully inserted as it has a tendency to slip out when you move the feeder.

I had the old catmate C50 and was very impressed.

Unfortunately one of mine thinks it’s a Labrador so it doesn’t work anymore, as they eat everything and the other cat gets none.

It’s primarily for when we are away and a family member feeds the cat. He is anxious if he can’t get there in time during the evening . A timed feeder would take away the worry. Thanks for the recommendation.
