Feral kitten with eye problems

I’m in Glasgow, and I’ve seen a kitten a couple of times near my house… I’m fairly sure it’s feral, and it has an infected eye. It’s probably about 12 weeks old (I’m guessing though).

Does anyone know of any local rescues who might trap it and treat it? Or should I try to do this myself? I have no experience of trapping cats, and I don’t want to do the wrong thing. But I would like to help it if I can. Happy to pay vet costs for antibiotics, neutering etc. Any advice?

Contact the Cats' Protection League in your area. They'll put you in touch with someone experienced with this. If you're happy to pay costs they will absolutely love you!

Good luck and thank you for caring 😊

Hi, just wondering if you got sorted? There's also CatFlap, based in Bearsden I think.
My mum took in an abandoned cat like this and he's a darling. He still has bad eyes but is living his best country life regardless!

Can't help with a rescue, but just to say try get a rescue involved sooner rather than later. My cat had to have his eye removed because what could have been a treatable infection was left too long (before I adopted him).
