Anyone else's dcat do this?

Dcats(2) have their bowls, litter trays and beds at the other end of the house to ddogs. Interact at dcat's descretion! . Ddogs have 1 raised water bowl indoors (several outdoor) which both dcats drink from. Younger one has been seen splodging front paws right in! Assumed reflective as it is stainless steel!
Twice recently have gotten up and noticed some dirty little buggar has pee-d in the bowl! Bowl is near exit door at the back of the house.. Poor ddogs! No health issues and no unusual behaviour apart from this. Any ideas?

The worst my cats did to my dogs was stealing their (much larger) beds, even pushed the dogs out if they (dogs) were already asleep in their baskets.

Do you know if it definitely is a cat peeing, or has a ddog decided they too, would like an indoor toilet/litter tray?

or ddog got caught short over night and used the most acceptable place ? At least it was easy to clean up?

Ddogs would have to reverse onto the bowl! Dcat actually loves the ddogs. Younger dcat was still in bed so def wasn't her...

The cat and dog probably had a bit of a fallout and the cat has taken offence.

I used to have a cat that liked to sit in deep puddles to wee. Not water bowls though.

ah. Then pp probably correct - dcat has been offended by ddog, reason unknown-
but does that really matter to a cat??!!

Have heard of piss on your chips but not in yuri9 water bowl!
Maybe dcat is miffed ddog got a camping trip and he didn't?!
