Cat Tracker

Hello. After my cat went on a 3 day jolly which worried us all sick, I’m looking for a tracker for him.
Does anyone have any recommendations? They all look so bulky, which my cat will not like. I looked at an Apple Air Tag, if anyone has one as a tracker, is it good?
Any advice welcome.

We use Tractive which is great but battery would not last three days I don't think. It's bulky but cat does not mind at all. We have lost one already on a quick release collar so it's not the cheapest. I love knowing where he goes - it's fascinating!
I'd be interested to try the air tag but tractive is good for us at the moment.

I used tractive and paid for 2 years subscription. First it fell off ad I couldn't track it and they replaced it. It showed my cat as being a few streets away then he would just pop out of the house. I never really knew what was going on. Anyway my cat went missing and I followed the tracker but couid never locate it or my cat. I looked for 3 days till the battery died and ever saw either again. I was gutted and still don't know what happened.
My other cat had a big cat run and tunnels around the garden. My daughter uses airtag for hers and finds it useful
