We’ve adopted a 6 year old stray, joining our two other cats in the household.
Our boy is tolerating his presence and will eat and sleep near him. Our girl prefers him to stay well away from her and will go up and whack him when he’s sleeping. He loves them both and follows them around everywhere, keeping his distance from our girl.
We have to feed him separately because he’s ready for seconds and thirds after hoovering up his meal.
It’s just lovely to see how happy he is. He runs to the door when we come back from going out. He snuggles up between us at night.
He is strong but not very co-ordinated and is hilarious to watch playing with toys.
When it’s feeding time he runs ahead of you and flops down so you can scratch his belly.
I’ve never had a cat that is so enthusiastic and joyous. He’s almost un-cat like.
Does anyone else have a rescue that loves their new life?
