Ever calm down??

Please tell me - if you had a boy cat - that they calmed down after being neutered?

He’s four months old and it’s booked for September. We have two two-year olds (female, spayed) who are VERY fed up with him constantly trying to play fight. He’s got no one to playfight with and though they are generally pretty tolerant of him when he’s not trying for headlocks and stuff, they’re pretty pissed off with him when he wants to play.

We also can’t let him out yet and it’s baking hot with closed windows. He climbs curtains, wrecks my blinds, gets into constant trouble and tries to eat EVERYTHING. Amazing how you forget what it’s like having a kitten.

I’m hoping for a calmer home after September 🙏🏼

I think most kittens calm down..... eventually. Why not get some flat cat screens do you can at least have the window open.

It worked amazingly well on the departed Bengal but I had i
him done too soon at 20 weeks and I worry it caused his uti issues.

I always said I’d have dh done if possible and I’m not wholly joking.

Flat cat window screens work well, I’d use two strips of Velcro to fasten them though with a male kitten.
