Found cat that's been missing for over a year

And he was literally one street away all this time!

I'm not sure what to do because I don't know which house he's been living in and when I found him I had no way of bringing him home. I tried picking him up but he was having none of it. I've been back since but can't see him.

He also has 4 siblings and his mum living with us who will probably not take too kindly at him coming back and I imagine he will probably just run back to the other house

So frustrating. I had posters out and posted on our local Facebook page but obviously whoever took him just ignored them.

He is well fed and looked after and ran straight to me meowing.
I suppose at least I know he isn't dead.

I've posted on the local Facebook page and been looking where I saw him last but nobody has got back to me and I've not seen him again.
If he's being looked after, it's better he stays with them I think, because my other cats have a sort of pecking order now and it would cause chaos.
I'll have to pop some leaflets through some doors.
Yes, he's neutered.
