Hello, we’re collecting our almost 11 week old kitten (11 weeks next Monday) this Saturday. She’s one of 3 kittens. Collecting from a rescue. They had their vet check today. The rescue messaged me to say the vet said our kitten is very small - 800g - so can we feed her white fish and cut up chicken alongside her food. Her siblings weights are fine. Aside from her weight, they said the vet said she’s fine. Anyone had similar? Wondering if I should concerned. Assuming her siblings have just beaten her to the food (they’re still with their mum) but are weaned. They said females are generally smaller anyway. Thanks. We’re all very excited to bring her home.

Also want to add - I’m home all the time (work from home 2 days a week) so easy for me to keep an eye on her and feed her. Her siblings are being homed this weekend also.

Little and often. She may have been the youngest of her litter and the other two shoved her our of the way. I wouldn't be too worried as long as her weight increases once she's home with you. I'd say weigh her every 3 days to begin with. Remember even going for a poo can look like dramatic weight loss in them so don't get too panicked. Vet will give you great advice and give you correct wormer etc. Good luck on being a future cat slave x
