Damn fleas

We have been treating the cats with Bob Martin spot on monthly, and had been thinking it wasn't as effective as the stuff we used to get from the vet....when EXPLOSION OF FLEAS!

Cats don't want to come indoors as they're so badly bothered.

We last used the Bob Martin stuff a week ago. Can we use Frontline now or is it a bit too soon?

NB We have also been spraying everything with Bob Martin spray and washing lots and lots of stuff. Hoovering etc.

We are broke. I have no money in my account and no more coming in until 9th so can't buy anything else until hten. I should have asked here before I got hte Frontline (with my last pennies!) but I did also buy Acclaim for hte house which is clearly better than the BM - but it's not enough by itself.

Can I treat the poor dears with Frontline now? Must I wait a bit - how long?

Sorry but Frontline in my experience hasn't worked in years. I use Advocate, vets only as the over the counter stuff just doesn't work, as you've already experienced.
You need Indorex for the house treatment and honestly don't use any of the cheap alternatives. They're cheap for a reason, so just save up and at least then you'll get rid of them. Indorex works really well but follow the instructions carefully.

When I was in this situation I used Indorex for the house and Bravecta for our cat. Honestly, we had LOADS, I wanted to move it was so bad. All gone in two weeks.

Frontline and Broadline don't work any more, and I've found that Advocate isn't as good as it was, my vet has just changed us onto Bravecto, which seems good so far. And it only has to be applied once every three months, which is a huge win!

so, given that I can't buy anything else right now, can I use the Frontline so soon after using the Bob Martin? 1 Week?

I use Advantage and Indorex, sorted us out after an infestation last year - still got scars on legs!

Thanks all of you, I shall most definitely be looking out for your recommendations next time, and I love the idea of only having to treat the cats every 3 months.

I rang the vet who said Ihave to wait another week.

Then they'll charge me £43 per cat for Bravecto and I'll have to take the cats in for them to have a look at as they'rve been too healthy to need a vet fora while. My two cats hate wch other so I'll have to tke them in separately. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
