Does your cat like eating cucumber?

So I'm becoming a regular in here, and have totally developed pfb crazy cat lady vibes...!

When making food, ill sometimes offer my kittens a tiny bit of whatever they are trying to get to, to prove to them that they don't want it 😂 (so a bit of carrot that the sniff and walk away from etc)

Did this With cucumber today and boy kitten was totally uninterested and decided it was not food. However, surprisingly, girl kitten decided it was the best thing ever, went crazier for it than she does for dreamies, and devoured the slice almost instantly, and then came to steal the slice that boy kitten was uninterested in!

Looked it up and apparently its a thing, and that in little bits its actually quite good for them due to the water content??

Does anyone else have a weird kitty that loves cucumber??

One of mine ate a load of peanuts I'd put out for the birds. That was unexpected.

Not cucumber but used to swipe peas from our dinner plates. Also went batshit for hard boiled egg yolks and cheesy wotsits.

My gorgeous old girl loved strawberries. Used to cuddle up to the bowl or punnet purring, and cheek rub them.

Also loved bleach - unrinsed swimming costumes smelling of chlorine or cleaning cloths got a lot of love.

Some of mine like cheese which I think is relatively normal, and egg. One likes cake but not mocha cake I discovered yesterday. Pigeon (RIP) loved those onion ring crisps and would steal them from the packet when my ex was eating them.

Frank will eat anything providing it is on my plate but if I give him frozen peas for example (after reading cats love them and they're good to give in hot weather) he won't touch them. He stole some tenderstem broccoli off my plate once, I think he was going for the steak, but insisted on eating it possibly just to make it look like he meant to steal it all along!

I bought them some melon ready for the hottest day as it's meant to be a really good way for them to stay hydrated. They all looked at me like I was mental. The tuna ice cubes I made were much more popular!
