The litter tray

Is a litter robot worth the money

They look great.

My main hopes would be less litter tray admin for 2 cats and a less smelly house (2 kittens with very smelly poo despite a high quality diet).

But they're hugely expensive.

For anyone that has one:
Are they worth the money?
Are there any downsides?
Will the cats actually want to use it?

I wouldn’t risk it because I could see the cats refusing to use it.

They do offer a 90 day money back guarantee which is reassuring for if the cats don't use it.

I had one with my former DCat when we lived in a flat. It was excellent. I absolutely loved it, and if it was solely my choice, I would have another in a heartbeat. We only got rid of it because we moved to a house with a garden, and m'lady preferred to use the outside facilities.

She's sadly no longer with us, and her successors, the Crown Princes, are currently favouring the litter tray. If that remains the case into the winter, DH says I can have a robot again. I honestly loved it.
