We currently have a 2 year old neutered male, he's a rescued Arabian Mau from Abu Dhabi. Very soppy and cuddly, great with our young kids and very adventurous.
I'd love another and particularly want an oriental shorthair (rescue), anyone got any advice on what to get for the second rescue eg boy or girl old or young to make it more likely they get on or would a kitten be better?
He seems like like some of our local cats, especially a ginger one he almost hangs around with in the daytime (I presume it's male as most gingers are) but know he does bully 2 girl cats in our area and repeatedly chases them on their own territory.
I would have thought a girl would be less threat but maybe he just prefers male cat company 🤷♀️
