Tips for bringing new kitten home

Hello,

We'll be bringing our new kitten home in around 4 weeks time - please no comments about getting two kittens - we do not have the space for two kittens and I'm home all the time as I work from home.

Does anyone have any tips on bringing our new kitten home? He/she will be 10 weeks old.

Should I invest in a Feliway Plug-In to help the new kitten settle or just see how they go without the plug-in?

Any other tips would be great, thank you.

Have everything ready like the litter tray incase accidental wees you can put the kitten straight in there. Get some toys ready too. We didn't use a feliway and it was fine :)

This is what I did: Start by having a confined area for your kitten - put litter tray and water/food in there. And they will explore beyond that at their own pace.
Or as my kitten did: give it about 12 hours in this confined space and then take over their new home.
Photos asap, please
