8 months old, normally very affectionate and cuddly, suddenly went crazy, running up and down the stairs, howling, refused to come near me, hiding in cupboards, properly pissed off. I've never seen such behaviour.
Turns out she has fleas - only a few but she was furious about it. I got prescription stuff and shes fine now, back to normal self.
None of my 10 cats have ever behaved like that - not that I ever let them get fleas if I can help it - our flea product stopped working.
This morning she gave me kisses as usual such a relief.
