We lost our fabulous ginger Fernando in December. Today we adopted two beautiful kittens. So exciting, they have run round and investigated, eaten and had a snooze on the carpet!

Mamma mia, they are beautiful. What are they called?

They are Liam and Evie 😂 Named by DD and DS2

Aw ❤️ I also lost my adorable Ginger chubster in December and am starting to think about another kitten to fill the cat shaped hole. My new hobby is looking at rescue kittens / kittens for sale!

Just a question. I took them to the vet this morning, all fine they are really healthy and doing well. She said they couldn't be neutered until they were 6 months - I'm sure our previous kittens were younger than this?

I think it's to do with weight - we were told 2kg is the min for the anaesthetic. Our boy was 6 months for his, but his sisters took another 5 weeks to get to weight and even then, one made it by a squeak. We just kept them indoors until the were neutered, which was a bit tricky as they were gasping to get out.

Mine was 5 months when she was neutered it depended on her weight.
