I woke up this morning to find a fully loaded tick on my bed . I found one on the floor a few weeks ago too.
I think it must be the black cat so not easy to spot but she's the one who mainly sleeps on my bed.
She does have fake treatment monthly but I don't think it is for ticks too. Unfortunately I'm out of them and due to pick some up at her annual checkup next week.
So, question is, are cats affected by ticks as badly as dogs? She was fine after the last one and seems fine now - still out catching mice!
I'm thinking of leaving it (assuming she seems ok) and will pick up with the vet on Monday next week.
Should I be more concerned? Thanks!
