Where does he go to?

Seriously, I'm intrigued. There are days when he's gone from morning til late afternoon? Maybe he hides out in the bushes, I just don't know. He's very food orientated, and pops in constantly to see if anything's on offer, but the days when he doesn't hassle me, he must be visiting elsewhere🤷‍♀️. Today he's been gone since 9.30am and no sign of him since then.

I don't mind that he might be spending time in another household - I'd actually be quite amused. In fact, I'm tempted to put a notice in the local shop, asking if anyone knows the little blighter😁

Do any of yours disappear for hours?

Mine disappears into a bush and naps for hours

Basilbrushgotfat · 13/06/2022 15:14

Yea but she's usually chilling under a shrub lol

Wheelz46 · 13/06/2022 15:15

You could buy a pet cat tracker, it sits on their collar and you link it to your phone and you will see all his whereabouts for the day 😁

Want2beme · 13/06/2022 15:26

I'd love to do that Wheelz46, but he doesn't wear a collar. I'll think about it.

Basilbrushgotfat & MsOllie, maybe he is napping in a bush, but he's quite young & giddy. How old are yours?

Dunno where he goes just wanted to say he's bloody gorgeous 😻!

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/06/2022 16:18

He’s doing important cat stuff.

fantasmasgoria1 · 13/06/2022 16:26

I have often thought about a tracker for our cat but she loses her collar every so often so I'm not sure about it.

Littlebirdyouaresosweet · 13/06/2022 16:29

Do you ever smell him when he gets back? One of mine smelled of a distinctive perfume that wasn't mine!!!

Bichette · 13/06/2022 16:35

Ours is the same. Didn't see her at all yesterday from breakfast til dinner time.
Although she was living stray before we adopted her so I guess she's just used to it.

Grin Mine does this too!
Want2beme · 13/06/2022 16:45

He's a great lad Pudmyboy. A real character.

Fluffycloudland77 😬, maybe he's a member of that cat insurgents group I've been hearing about🤐

Bichette, mine was a stray as well. Great photo!

Littlebirdyouaresosweet, I'll do the sniff test when he gets back. Thanks for the tip!

I do wonder where mine goes. She goes out, definitely leaves the garden, and yet in 6 years I've not once seen her out and about further than my own path. Either the stealthiest cat alive, or there's a secret entrance to Narnia in the bottom of my garden 🤔

axolotlfloof · 13/06/2022 17:04

I came across my at staring out another cat on footpath a reasonable distance from home last week.
Maybe he is busy staring out other cats.

MsOllie · 13/06/2022 17:13

Mine does occasionally trot down the road and use the zebra crossing but after being embarrassed by me screeching at him, he seems to have stopped that
Bloody thing was sat on the pavement waiting for cars to stop Confused

Want2beme · 13/06/2022 18:05

MsOllie you publicly shamed him🤣 I'd love to have seen him waiting at the crossing.

He's back now and has been helping me with the gardening, by batting cuttings around the place😬

No trace of perfume or stink about his person.

When we had our first 2 I never saw them anywhere when I took our ddogs out and about.. Now we have 1 of those db's and a young dcat they are never more than a few seconds away.
Usually on the trampoline sunbathing!
