Poo in neighbour's gardens

Any ideas how to stop cats from treating our garden as a giant litter tray? The smell is revolting. At wits end.

Water pistol.
Anti-cat gizmos off the Internet.
Lion poo.
Vitrus peel on common poo points.

Had a look on amazon and bought a solar powered thingy with high frequency noise and flashlight.

Squirt them with a water pistol. Every time.

It isn't clear from your OP, are you the neighbour, who has someone else's cat pooing in your garden, or area you the cat owner who doesn't like your own cat pooing in your own garden because of the smell, and, want it to poo in a neighbours garden?

Water pistol, definitely. Won't harm puss but unlikely to return. Had to do this years ago when our princess of a moggy got stressed out by a big ginger Tom who took a shine to our garden. We didn't get a direct hit but he stopped coming in so often.

I throw tennis balls at cats, the dog was quite effective but no longer with us so just use the tennis balls he left.
