Do I need to vaccinate Harry

Harry is now 17 and the garden is cat proofed so do I need to vaccinate him? He doesn't come into contact with any other cats so I'm wondering if it's worth the extra vet trip for him.

If you plan on ever putting him in a cattery you might have to.

I vaccinate my indoor/catio cats in case they have to go to the cattery but if that’s not a concern then I don’t think I would bother, especially if there’s no contact with other cats. Harry looks like a sweetheart!

Long time no see Harry. Snorg sends love. Mine are only done so they can go to the cattery. They don't come into contact with other cats.

All my cats have lived long outdoor lives. They have only ever had their first vaccinations. Latest one is 16.

Good luck trying to get a vaccine, there’s a national shortage. My vet is currently vaccinating cats who were due for theirs last October. My Madam was due hers this March, but won’t get it for months yet.

Thanks all, I think I might leave him. He’s never been in a cattery and at his age I wouldn’t do it so it shouldn’t be a problem. I have just thought I need to get his teeth checked each year so he will have to go but I might just tell the vet to leave everything else apart from his teeth.
